That's a very VERY nice job done to that lovely classic, the Sand Rover.
Reminds me a lot about the Sand Scorcher I am working on nowadays. Looked very much like your Rover, sporting seven, SEVEN thick layers of enamel paint. Awful! I had no results with my usual stripping method (the old rag soaking with brake fluid) so I had to go rad and use caustic soda. It's been a lot of work. Will you tell us about your paint stripping method? i]¿Nos contarás acerca de vuestro método para remover la pintura?[/i |

First layers wiht paint stripper, remove paints with care!!! The "remove paint" ,will destroy plastic After, washing with toothbrush and dot 4 After, brake fluid dot 4, doing washing and scratching with a sharp wooden stick After, washed and scratched with a fine watchmaker's screwdriver To access difficult sites I then, made mini sandpaper with thin strips of plastic They help me sanding difficult areas |
