That white one does look sweet, this siver 1 is good too  Looking forward to this (you know why :) )andy

Digging up this thread because I'm wanting this exact grey/silver color. Does anyone know who owns this BF or what color this is?

Thanks!

Thank you. Is it your build? The color seems more grey than the x11 chrome silver.

No it is not mine. But if you can find an automotive spray you should be happy with the result. A plastic primmer and 2 or 3 light coats or more of the metal grey and lot of clear to be shiny. I know that renault has a similar metalic grey in spray. Generally sent with its clear spray

I'm being super picky and hoping to find this exact color. It's the right balance between silver and gray.

Could be TS-17 Gloss Aluminum, TS-76 Mica Silver, or TS-83 Metallic Silver. I use TS-17 a lot and it sure looks like this to me.

Thanks. Looks close to ts-100 as well.

Hoping to find who owns the thing so we can know for sure. :)

That post is pretty old and TS-100 has only recently existed so that's probably not it.

Hello,
I'm afraid i don't know the owner of that grey BF. I can't tell if it looks like a Tamiya grey or an after market random grey.
The best thing ist that you have a look at your local hobby shop and pick up the one you like most or an automotive spray alternatively.
You can then make some tests using different primers ( for example white one or grey one ) on an old ABS body and see if the results meet your expectations.
That's the way i would proceed..

Thank you. Any guess of what is close from the Tamiya ts line? I can't really tell if this has a metallic look or just regular with gloss.
