Hi all I am in the process of restoring a mud blaster. I am having trouble finding the correct size bolts for the body assembly, as I would like to keep as original as possible does anyone know where I can get the screw bags? Or is it a case of buying an assortment tray from eBay?
Thanks in advance

Screw bag numbers:
Bag A 9465323
Bag B 9465324
Bag C 9465325
Bag D 9465326

Ebay is best place to find those probably.

If you are not fuzzed about having the gold screws, you can buy this:
www.ebay.com/it...4674281222
9465701 and 9465702 is numbers you are looking for if you are looking elsewhere.

Hi all just following on from the Mud blaster post. It now seems I have more than one restoration to complete, going in the attic to put away the seasonal decorations, I discovered a few other models stored and forgotten.
I suppose the treasure of them is an original Opel Asscona, a Blitzer Beetle. a TA-01 chassis with a motor, I think it was a Toyota Celica GT four rally but could be wrong . Lastly a Futaba FXT truck. I hope to be able to get them back to full working restored so be warned there will be loads of questions.
This late in life seems to be the time when I have the time and patience for it. Fingers crossed

Yes, lots of pics always help.

The Ascona is the gem of the lot IMHO.

To unglue tires, you can put the wheeles in boiling water and to remove gold paint , a bath of glanzer or costic soda is the best way.

Thanks Stingray, the wheels are not painted at all the yellow gold colour is just age and white plastic discolouration.

A bath in peroxyd water in a closed glass jar. If you can, better is under sunlight. It will whiten the rims. Several members used this method with good results.
