Any other Nitro Engine compatible for Tamiya TG-10 Mk.1 9 months 3 weeks ago #81656

My Tamiya fs12lt engine for my 2nd tg10 mk1 chassis has very low compression to a point it won’t start and only move my wheels for a second, which makes my arms very sore the next day of all the pulling. So is there any other engine that is available that I can use?, or does anyone know how to fix the low compression problem?

You can replace the piston set or find another 2cc engine. All 12 or 15 class engine is compatible. 12 class is 2cc and 15 class 2,5cc. I don't remind if the fs is an OS or an OPS rebadged engine.

Sorry for the late response, I thought of it now but do you also know any other air filter I can use?, the other one I got is too curved that it hits some of the stuff on the chassis.

It's too late but I had tgx air filter. You can search about the aloy air filter mount for the tgx I had it on mine. And my first mk1had the fs15lt a OPS brand motor (original mount on the tgx) carburator should have same diameter. Or you can find a silicon tube wich avoid matter. Or any other 1/10  air filter should work. On my 1/8, I had a K&N filter. Wich one kept my motor on 2 chassis. Another solution but harder to find . I have one on my fg marder to (1/5 scale)

HPI 101257 should work. Sits right on top of the carb, off centric.
HPI 87198 is for the Savage series and are high rise type. Should clear the chassis with ease.
