Started sorting out the esc location tonight ended up making a alloy plate that slides through the heat sink on it

I know exciting right












So then I decided to make a battery holder which utilizes the original mounts for the msc servo and 2 others which required spacers This mount still allows me to cable tie the receiver and has the added bonus of hiding the excess cables in the deck cut out for the msc servo and leaving a gap between the top deck and battery plate for air to flow around the esc

Ok found out something new tonight Cen do make the sp1 in a Electric model I originally thought the GP part of the name meant Grand Prix Turns out it means "Gas Powered" So you have the >sp1 gp< and the >sp1 ep<

So now that everything is finished for mock up, it's time to pull it all down for the final build up stay tuned, AND feel free to comment

It looks like you could fit the battery the same way as the production EP?

Correct It's more about aesthetics though, because of the high body position I wanted the battery up high so it doesn't stand out

So tonight I played with the shell a bit, checked the clearances for the front and rear bars and the result was, rear fine front needed to have a shave. The lower corners of the bar were hitting the tyres under some lock and compression, I gave them a nice new curve and problem solved

Next I wanted to add a tub cover, nothing exciting compared to others work but I think it looks ok, what say you?

Lastly I cleaned up the windows for this they are black abs, Since I wont be doing a detailed interior I will either sand and clear or paint black and clear?

this thing looks great what brushless setup were you thinking of getting for it?
i have a hobbyking x-car brushless combo in my HSP warhead, can only say great things about it
