I had to work this morning :pinch: so in between getting home and walking the dog ;) I grabbed a moment to install the last of the radio gear into the ST. I stripped and cleaned the receiver then replaced the aerial wire with a correct length colour coded one B) I added the battery pack plus the aerial tube and she is done :cheer:


If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

After walking the dog I decided to get onto the SC radio gear :ohmy: again I cleaned the receiver and replaced the aerial wire with a new correct length colour coded one :y: after fitting the aerial tube and battery pack I rebuilt the braking system :cheer: Next on the list is to rebuild the engine :sick: :laugh:


If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

Spent most of Sunday doing house duties :y: However I still managed to strip / clean / reassemble and mount the engine for the SC, Just need to sort out the linkages for the steering / throttle and brake then we should be done with this one too :ohmy:

Thanks mate :) it's nice to completed a few projects :laugh:

EDIT: Just took a pick with the new wheels B) These came on my first Boomerang project car and as soon as a saw them I Felt that they belong on this :)

Picked up this SCX10 a year & a half ago and I always hated the battery and esc location's :n: Recently I came across a Spanish dude making laser cut trays for them :woohoo: So naturally I had to have 1 ;) It arrived today and was fitted promptly :ohmy: cleaned up all the wiring while I was at it, now it handles so much better :y: :y:
