I have collected a 1/10 scale touring chassis that is missing parts in the left area: knuckle, carrier, driveshaft, cup and wheel. The chassis is very similar to the Tamiya TT-01 / Team associated tc3.

I have identified this chassis as Carson CE-4 and it was also sold as Smartech -Victory Hawk VH-32. The problem is that I have not found parts in local stores, only in another country through a website with quite expensive costs.

I'm going to try to repair it with HSP parts that are cheap and easy to find:

I start by disassembling the suspension, steering and front transmission:

The HSP lower arm fixes well although I had to file a little in the width for it to rotate correctly; In the picture, on the left are the HSP parts and on the right are the original parts:

I follow the HSP assembly sheet for the front suspension:

The upper arm is located between a cylindrical separator and a spring:

I'm going to put the rigid body of an old wire-controlled toy car, manufactured by Rico in Spain in the late 70's: the Mercedes 450. The car was like this:

I only have the body and interior parts (seats, windows,...) to fit the Victory Hawk chassis.  The body has a 260mm wheelbase but the width is 165-170mm

You have to cut for the suspension tower

Fixing the body mounts:

Custom foam bumper:

Screwed aluminum plate and cork spacers to leave the correct height in the rear area:

Bottom view of the car:

Two screws hold the body to the chassis at the front

You can place the dummy motor on top

In the rear area, the body is fixed by screws

To attach the seats, I placed the servo horizontally and made a steering link.

the complete chassis with the ESC and the 2.4Ghz receiver

It is already 90% finished. Only some exterior details are missing (headlights, radiator grille,...)

The car weighs 1.7Kg without the battery. Here is a test video:
