Got the cheap front dampers for my Turbo Ultima project today

Excited to add these to my battery collection, and both still work! I've been cycling the battery and it's improving each time.

I'd like to get a few of the Tamiya batteries , but I'm always afraid that customs would seize the parcel and get rid of the parcel - so  I'd waste my , and loose the cool item.
 

I managed to get hold of a nice example of the 6V battery, but I’m stopping there, it’s another Tamiya rabbit hole to fall down. Great that people can still find nice examples to add to their collections though.

With Bailey turning 6 in November and showing a liking for RC it was time to get him a track car for his Birthday. I have had this Desert Gator body set for years ( Originally got it to use on another car but it wouldn't fit 😶 ) found this new DT-02 chassis online and grabbed some wheels to suit, It arrived today and I have already changed out those white Tamiya bushings for bearings 😄 It's fitted with the kit 380 motor which will be fine to start with but will get upgraded along with the pogo shocks as he gets better 😁 Need to get the body done and hide it all away till November

 

I'm fan of the dt02. I swapped mine for the dt03 but the dt02 was the only rwd chassis I was able to drive with fun.

There's very little signs of use, for sure! I did notice some cracking on some "F" Parts, so I'll be on the hunt for those. It could also use new front tires. The last thing I noticed is the diff feels great, but when rolling forward or backward it's very tight. I think it's the just motor locked up a bit. I'll take care of it, or I might swap it out for a tasty motor I have an extra of
