I got an incredible deal on this pair, I guess because someone has a bad puppy?! LOL
Back story: Last January I scored a Max Climber that came with a cool 90050FM75 Airtronics Surface Pack for the TLT-1 models. The pack includes all mini radio gear, but no transmitter. I recently set about sourcing a period correct FM transmitter to complete the set, and settled on the MX-3. While searching, I came across a listing for a sealed Dark Impact (which was on my wish list) that happened to include an MX-3 radio set NIB chew toy , which happens to have survived the attack perfectly! And this is one more R/C Line Up crossed off my list: IG_tamiyaddiction

I have a special affect with sanwa radio gears. It was my first radio remembers with a mk2 dash on the lunchy. I don't remember wich one was on the grasshopper. Maybe this one or a graupner c4. And on your mx3 you have the " normal" servos wiring with blue rx. That helps a lot😁

Looking to expand my M-Chassis line-up, I've been keeping an eye out for an M-01, M-03, and M-04, that aren't a crazy price. Finally an M-01 + M-03 came up, and added bonus was the same seller (so less freight cost). As the price wasn't to disgusting, decided to grab them. In fact, they have a few older chassis, so i may get more in the future.
Both are chassis only, hence being "cheaper", so will be looking for some original or rep. bodies. Definitely a Mini for the M-01, and Mini or Suzuki Swift on the M-03 (or Toyota Minivan for sh!tsngiggles) M-01 is bear bones, but mostly there. For some reason the step screws are missing. It's also very clean and looks hardly used, which is weird considering it has a broken body post mount. M-03 is more complete, and also came with ESC, servo's, and motor. It's been used as some scuff marks underneath. Still need to verify if it's a 1990's M-03 or post-2000's. Attachments: |

I don't know why , I really dislike it since its realesed, but know, it has its charm . A friend of me had a suzuki wagon r ( 1:1) and it was a really good car. He drove it till the end of the motor.... And regreted it same if he had a 67 Mustang and several nice cars.

Thanks Al, yeah this one doesn't scream BUY ME BUY ME!!!
One of the things I liked about it is the fact that the van body is a blank canvas. I am def building and running it. Trying to think of different ideas for the livery.... Wild school bus? Police of Fire vehicle?? No interest in keeping it stock or intend for resale. Any ideas??

In the spirit of dullness I’d make it a US style yellow taxi cab
😂😂 I’m looking forward to seeing this build that’s for sure.
