The ladder chassis for the original 3 speeds Toyota Hilux and Blazing Blazer.
I have a box off spares so when I get a chance I’ll see how far I can build this.
Looking at current prices for parts, I think I might be going a bit off piste on this one ???

Some "upgrades" for the Drift Pig.
These were suggested a while ago (to widen the M-02's track), and have had them on a few watchlists waiting to be available at a normal price.  And finally PlazaJapan had both back in stock.
  • 50737 TL-01 C Parts (Suspension Arm)
  • 50883 39mm Drive Shaft Set
Now I just need to fix/replace the broken suspension mount.

Couple of cool knick knacks. Got a cool set of NSX decals in the Mugen Avex livery, one of my favorites. Also got a cool Parma stock motor and a little something for the little Taxi that could! Lol

This turned up today, no it’s not NIB.

But apparently the contents will give me a rolling chassis and all the parts are brand new.

The contents of the box.

I’ll need to go through everything to check. Apparently there are some option parts, so the dampers are CVA ones ??
I’ve never built or used them so that’s new.
There are 3 sets of wheels and tyres, nice. And a pair of spare tyres.

The best bit about all of this hopefully is that a few years ago I bought the body shell for this.

I just thought it’s a great looking shell, it’s what Tamiya do best. I bought a used set of wheels and tyres a while back thinking that one day I’d complete the build.
I must admit initially my thoughts were to put the shell on a totally different chassis, but as time went on I began to think about making it original.
I’m very pleased to get the box.

Cheers.
