Yeh i like that the M02 is in 3 parts, but i didn't have anything suitable on hand to extend it. Still may do it later on. The Sprinter body is quite wide though, so it really needs a bigger chassis or rims with more offset.
There's a Mk1 Escort body shell that's a 239, so it's another option.

After many hours messing in the slicing program for my printer and an 8Hr print I finally have a working rear wheel with Lunchbox tyre for the Big Bear
The Bolt holes are hollow so I could put some ca head screws in there for the authentic look. I used a wheel adapter I found on Thingyverse to use Clod Buster wheels on the Big Bear and adapted it into the highly modified Mach5 Land Rover wheel I also found on Thingyverse. I'm not skilled enough on Fusion 360 yet but I'm getting better slowly. I found I could "put" parts together in my printers slicer program which resulted in merged prints just like they had been designed that way. It works for me at the moment. Here is the finished product on the Big Bear, I have the front wheel to try next but as its also an 8hr print I will start it in the morning. I'm very pleased with the result. Big Bear tyres are so hard to find. I now have to see IF I can possibly repair the crap ones I have with super glue, rubber cement and whatever I can find. Regards

Nice work. I will need to work out Samurai wheels. I will need to set 4 different pairs of different dimensions, and definitively, it will be the time to fully work in Fusion360 rather than Tinkercad which is easier to start with...
However, while it was the plan, I did not have a single minute to work on this due to some administrative stuff, and some printer fixing. The more and more I get fed up with my Ender 5 plus:
On the good side, I do not have the time to build another kit right now, which means that for 2022, I may be able to finish January with only one single build done I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them

Your not wrong about those tyres, I tried to find some nearly 8 years ago when I restored one for a friend. No 3d printing for me back then so I had to get creative. tamiyabase.com/...t=20#29444 tamiyabase.com/...t=40#29583 If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate

Well, that is exactly what I was thinking about the Marui Hunter/Galaxy tires, and I got 3 sets (including a metal plated one).

Exactly what I have been doing Marc, I can make them as wide or tall as I want. You can get the Hunter/Galaxy wheels from Shapeways but they're not cheap. I'm tempted to have a go at designing them in 360. I have done a rim with a 5 spoke face but couldnt do what I wanted as it was a curved surface. Did the wheel though . I don't think the slots would be too hard to replicate either for the Samurai as its a flat front face.
Have a look at these vids. Regards
