Some hacking around on the Drift Pig to get that mad front camber.  More on this later.

My original plan to use some M-08 front 2deg C-Hubs and Knuckles, didn't quite work out as i'd planned (steering arm on the knuckle is too long).  But as the M-02 C-Hubs are starting to crack, I do have some thoughts on still using the M-08 hubs.  More on this later too.

Better to fit TL01 suspension arms. Those exstenders make a lot of pressure on the c-hubs and the knuckle, thus making them crack or break.
Those 8 degree knuckles only makes steering go straighter and better cornering as the imagnery king pin line angles more backwards at the top.
Using TL01 adjustable upper links or self made will make the camber adjustable.
M03-M05 use TL01 based suspension arms, just shorter. Wild Willy 2 also use TL01 suspension arms so they should be easy to get hold of.

Most of the cracks in this chassis are from over-tightened screws by the previous owner.  Only just recently noticed similar cracks in the hub.

Have actually got some spare M-05 parts coming in the post.  I know extenders are a trade-off (same as using hub spacers on a full-sized car), but the TL-01 parts i'd found were usually from O/S and crazy postage costs, or just expensive locally, or i'm just looking in the wrong spots.
The M-08 C-Hubs have the lower mounting hole moved inwards, so it moves the base of the wheel out to give the extra camber.  The caster angle doesn't change.

I missed a norvegian delivery for the second time this morning. And my client is really unpatient to have his project. So I took time to end the cooper S. I rebuilt it and personalised it a little for my grandson and his sister. It looks fast with the new battery.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)
