Sucks! I'm disgusted. I killed the steering servo on my mn 82. I don't know why because we didn't abused it . Only runs on gravels and one rime on grass. So I ordered one in urgence. 8 days. Knowing that my grand son is at home for a week sunday.  Crossed fingers I'll receive rhe servo before he will be back to his parents.

I started this alloy wild one back in Jan 2022, I have been waiting for some more alloy parts to become available at a fair price. Now I have fitted some front and rear arms, Machined a front shock tower braced and added rere shocks. I had already grabbed some alloy rims and have another cool piece in the mail

Today I repaired this Traxxas TRX4M Bronco (1:18 scale) for my mates 6 year old son.

Here is some precaution if you want to buy the TRX4M.
These comes shipped with no grease at all in either axles or gearbox!!
On top of this, these uses bushings which is bone dry!

Now that the kiddo has ran 1h or so every day for 1.5 week after purchase, the front diff was now damaged (plastic)
Due no lubrication, the pinion bushing got so worn that the diff now began to skip, which damaged it.
I replaced the diff with Yeah Racing steel diff and added bearings for the diff and pinion.
The diff bushings was almost sized on, so was nearly the rear one too.
So now both axles is lubricated, so are the gearbox.
Cross my fingers it will last a bit longer now. Really needs bearings and steel diff in the rear too.

Shocks is a tad too weak, installed all 4 pre load clips, but still too soft (rear sags and will not come up.
Happend to have 4x TLT shock clips that fitted perfectly and that seems to be the ticket!

6 year old was happy and we drove a bit afterwards.
He drove  my crawler for most of the time, and I this one

Today was a off day for me. So, we have a good sunny and hot rides with my grand son with the mn 82 and spirit.
1 hour later a storm comed very fast and here are glass cubes we received.
The neighboor kept one bigger. Like a half brick.... And some trees on the roads...
Only 15' storm.

I've finished the Frog.

The combination of PS-3 Light Blue and PS-19 Camel Yellow is cool

Nothing to fo with RC, but that made my day yesterday
Spend some time as Couch potato yesterday watching the Olympics...
Yesterday during the Judo Mixed teams final, the intensive minutes on my Garmin Fenix watch shows how much it is intense to watch such a great final... That's real couch potato sport! And while French team won, Japan proposed us one of the greatest finals ever...

I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them :-)

One of the lads at my club was selling his barely used rere Super Shot with a hand made alloy chassis, The price was soooo good I couldn't say no hahaha, I had been looking for one because I wanted to do a carbon chassis version 😁 I ordered some alloy bits so I would be ready to go and started on it today, I stripped it all down before begining the rebuild. I replaced a fair few screws and lathed a front shock brace from engineering plastic 😊
