Congrats Flo!
I built the one with the Land Cruiser body and it was a fun build but since crawlers aren't my thing it just sat around unfortunately....

I never ran mine. I only wanted build an aloy chassis. Originaly it was the bronco and I spent some euros in the same time for the unimog.

I spent the better part of the long weekend on a Monster Beetle restoration. This is one I picked up last year, before I stumbled across the partial built boxed gem I found this year.
Anyhoo, I had to strip off the gold and whatnot, and Easy Off oven cleaner did the trick (after four times each side!). Then some surface primer and the proper Italian Red. I managed to get the roller done, but still plenty of detail work left to do on the body. IG_tamiyaddiction

Shiny red todd. And it is a vintage mb body. (Maybe a early red one) . I don't remember if my vintage body had the sand scorcher rear support marks.

Yes sir, and it has a full window as well, lightly tinted. The boxed one I have has an even earlier white body. I think when I paint that one I'll leave the inside top white for "proof'. Interestingly, the driver parts tree on that one is also white, whereas they switched to red I suppose when the bodies went to red. IG_tamiyaddiction
