I have a 934 ttg wich I love and the ranger looks awesome. But did you saw that the grill has now real lights? Tamiya payed the ford licence back for the f150 good new. Hoppefully the new body has the specific rear supports for the srb. And crossed fingers if the body will be available as spares parts.

Hi Flo, unfortunately with the Ranger they have changed how it attaches to the chassis. In the front there is no body post hole, it attaches underneath. At the back there are two body post holes, different from the original, if will be good to see some more details.
Body kits will sell well, I’m hoping they sell them all the other SRB chassis cars have body kits sold separately. The Sand Scorcher one is probably keeping Tamiya afloat. The introduction of the lights is a nice upgrade and allows originals to have that point of difference.

Sucks! I haven't the Jonny's skill to have a real rear body posts on my tribute. Same if I love it, it's still a fake ranger body.

Hi Jim, I got super lucky and have managed to pre-order one in the UK. 50 minutes after placing my order I was told the UK allocation was sold out.
Maybe the US dealers are operating in a different way or are just waiting on their numbers. You’re a much bigger country, more shops requesting stock I guess. I also placed a separate order for the Mini Monte Carlo, because I can see those going quick and they are bloody cheap. I want the Ford Ranger as well, but talking to a supplier it sounds like it’ll be around for a while like the other SRB’s, so no need to panic about that one !!!???? I think that’s all my spending for 2026 out of the way 😂😂 |

Hi Al,
So glad you got one! Over here they are all heat shrink wrapped but I believe you folks don't do that? Do you plan to open and snap a few pics? or build? Def planning to try and get a 934 initially before the price goes somewhere over the Moon! LOL Congrats my friend! |

Cheers Jim.
I’ll believe it when I’ve got it 😂😂. I definitely plan on building, each to their own, but I bought one kit ( stupidly thinking it allows someone else to get one, I appreciate some people will be buying multiples ) The joy is in building these things for me. I’m definitely guilty of having a growing stash of NIB kits and a lot of restos to complete, but one day I’ll get round to them. Are you going to get one Jim ? It looks interesting especially the rear end.

Totally agree with that Al, yes gonna try to get one and build it for myself to keep. Might even run it in a closed parking lot. Lol
And yes, I will believe it when I holding it!!! We've all been there.... This one might be a good candidate for one of those nice Tamiya radio sets

I sold my mini m01 some monthes ago. My collection is like an ice cream under the sun. But I'll keep several of my favourites. Maybe 10 or 15. Several are still for sale. But the f150 makes me eye.
