Hello all. I was wondering if someone could help. I was sniffing around the internet and found this absolutely stunning pic of a Winger but have no info on it. Does anyone know who's this is or know of any other details as I'm trying to recreate it, specifically the stickers/decals used and what shocks these might be. It looks like it has Egress wheels and standard oval block tyers. I've attached the pic

Chassis seems to be Super Sabre with aftermarket dampers and Winger body.
Decals are from the TRF decal sheet from what I can see..

Possible pained with PS-15

Hello Caprinut, thanks for the reply. Yes, definitely either a sabre or boomerang. I've found/spurced the dampers/shocks and you're right those decals (at least some) are the TRF sheet but I can't seem to find the 'number 8' which is really what I'm after. The font looks exactly like it belongs to the TRF decals but I can't find it anywhere and I'm 100% certain I've seen it somewhere. Any ideas?
I also thought like you about the PS-15 but in the Winger pic it almost looks cherry red so still scratching my head on this one.

Thanks again for the reply. All the best.

Ohhhhh Jim, that's a very pretty Winger, very impressed. I hope my Winger turn's out as pretty as yours.

Oh waaaaaiiiit a minute, what motor did you fit (hide!) in there? That's no standard 540 can!!!! A GT-Tuned perhaps? :)

Hello all, I've finally managed to complete this monster. Very happy with it other than the colour. It was a perfect match when I mixed the paints but as it dried it turned out to be darker than I had hoped. Long story short, this build went from an original vintage 1987 vintage Boomerang (free) that I thought i could quickly do up as a Winger, to an upgraded monster that has cost me in excess of £1,200. But it does put a smile on my face. Other than the upgraded stuff I threw in, everything is pretty much as per the original picture I found on the internet (that I fell in love with) apart from the Tamiya TRF101 sticker set which appears on the side and the bumper. Apparently the last set was located in Canada 6months ago and when I went to press 'pay' in my basket it disappeared right under my nose. If anyone wants a few more pics and details/pics, let me know and I'll write something up in a bit more depth. Thanks for the help to those that took the time to answer my original questions. All the best.

Like said Jim, the color is very nice. And you could make thread on this built. Because only 1 pict is frustrating. Congrats. I love the egress rims.

Yes, sorry didn't know if anyone was interested. I'm about to head out for work for a couple of weeks but will do a proper write up upon my return. I take no credit for the look of this thing. Mine was a blatant copy of the original Winger that someone did over 10 years ago (see pic at top). But yes, the Egress wheel suit it beautifully. If the original builder see's this thread DROP A LINE HERE!!!! :)

All the best.
