I am sure that the upper deck is not at the good dimensions. It is too long for the instant. I took a shema from internet from the top force double FRP decks. Mine will be simplified. But If I had your shema, maybe I made an original copy. This one is a temptative if it is good, I will make another like original from you for my MANTA RAY. I have some work to do but I want a runner for my Dirt. And a box art/hopuped for my MR. Thanks Waterbok |

Nice work with this with those decks.
Here some pictures of the Traxxas Big Bore on my DT: As you can see they fit nicely. Sadly, when I was out testing I had a problem. I first though it was a stripped gear by the noise it made. But when I bring the car home to investigate. I found no stripped gear. Then I realize the noise came from the motor. It still spins but it has no more torque. Do not know what happen. I try to take the motor apart. But I stripped the set screw on my pinion gear! Any advice on getting a stripped set screw out? I try to drill the thing. But it is not easy. |

Shocks look great.
I've had some success with similar grub situations by superglueing in a small Tam hex wrench... If I remember well, eddrick once had a tip about using a slightly larger (1.6 instead of 1.5mm) diametrical wrench. |

Yes those shocks are good. No comparison with the previous one.
I will try the glue. The problem is now I drilled it. So the situation is worth... No idea what happen to the motor. Maybe overheating. But it was working fine the last time. After two packs, I didn't observe a lost in torque. |
