But the finished build would mean it's time to update the forum signature though! ;)

Done ... but what's next?

I have an NIB Eunos Roadster (/Miata / MX5) that holds no interest for me whatsoever - and apparently no-one else either as I've been unable to sell it - not even on the MX-5 owner's club website in the UK ...

I have two Sand Scorcher re-re bodysets that need painting, but the spraying season in the UK is pretty much over - sure we've had a few hot days recently, but TBH there should be frost in the mornings by now ...

I have a early 1980's copy of the Tamiya Radio Control Guide Book - in which the "Original Body" plans (that look quite a lot like a Lotus Esprit to me for some reason) have caught my eye, I did wonder about scaling those up for a modern 1/10 chassis ... probably in thin card to start with ...

But at the moment, I just don't have any enthusiam for another project (or any money either) - having done 8 builds/restorations (Pajero wheelie, Sand Rover, Bigwig, Monster Beetle, TL01 based Metro 6R4, Volvo 850, Grasshopper & this Cheetah) in 4 months I think maybe I could do with a break.

MAN, that turned out brilliant! :woohoo:
I envy your plastic building skills, not to mention your painting skills!

In my opinion, don't drive it, risking a dent or a skratch.

The person you got the Cheetah from must feel a bit GREEN. It turned out great, and your build was well presented with lots of ideas and construction tips. Well done mate and enjoy it!!!!. So what is next to top this one........?

Thanks :)

I'm inclined to agree - I've seen what happens to scratch built bodies when they take a big knock :pinch:

Well, looks like my next project (well, a future project) has been decided - I sniped (well, there were 25 seconds to go) the even worse looking Cheetah on ebay for

Still saved you about 15 pounds if I recall correctly.
And I'm sure it will transform into another amazing build.

Yes, but I'm a little concerned about what's been removed, swapped, damaged or otherwise buggered about with in the meantime
