Hello
I am looking for some parts to restore a Tamiya 1/6 AMF FLH1200 Harley-Davidson No.BS0607 - see photo. What I need is a Buddy Seat and Grabrail complete and a complete set of Rear Saddlebag Guard Rails and Fittings. Can anyone help please? Would consider a Complete kit or Built/Part Built kit. Many thanks, Dave. |

Good luck Dave Tamiya lost the HD licence since a lot of time but you can see for a recent kit. They are unbadged but similars.

You do talk a lot of spit sometimes, Stingray - I think it's safe to assume that
this
is an officially licenced product

Thanks for that Manotas,
I already have the Police bike. There are subtle differences between the original FLH1200 models and the current models, and reflect the real motorcycles. Both the original AMF FLH1200 (number BS0607) and the original Police FLH1200 (Number 16009) had the old style Oval Air Filter, the newer models have a larger, squarer air filter. They also had different rear Saddlebag Guard Rails, on the original models both guards ran parallel to each other on the sides, on the newer models the top rail kinks down and is closer to the lower Rail. On the original models these Rails ran all the way back around the back of the bike, on the newer models the Rails bend in behind each Saddlebag and do not go all the way across the rear mudguard. These details do make a difference to the accuracy of the models The newer models could be modified and these difference built in. Sadly, the Buddy Seat is the main sticking point, no other model used it, so difficult to replicate however, 3D printing may be an answer..? Dave |
