Hi all,
The mailman delivered a body kit for the Vanessa's lunchbox today. I'm building a project where I'd like to have the lunchbox body on a 'normal' chassis as I'm not a fan of the 'monster truck' models. Can anyone suggest or know what standard chassis would work?... no problem being a 2wd @ 1/12. Many thanks!!
Current projects:

Im thinking along the same lines but with a blitzer beetle body i have i need a chassis with a 259mm wheelbase i was thinking along the lines of an m05l i have all the conversion parts here just need to pick up a reasonable m05 chassis they seem quite expensive on evil bay.
Something along these lines but not on these chassis types: |

Yes the chassis' can be pricey, but there's the odd few second hander's that start cheaply, just need to hope no one else is going to bid against you!

They look great! Love the Lunchy!
How about a scratch-built chassis to exactly match the body you plan to use? Nice to see some scale-looking cars - my main gripe with Tamiya on-roads is that the wheels always look too big, same goes for "scale" truck projects, 1.9 wheels are too big for 1/10 bodies

Lunchy's on an M05.
Love those Scorchers... BOT - look what I got... custom bits by eddrick! Only needed these two 'cause Gary at Lightwatermodels went out of his way to search all the boxes he had around and dig out any Top Force mount bits he happened to find. Which turned out to be more than a full set (but not quite complete)... And at a price one could only get a couple of beers for (in a regular pub, that is). |
