Si06 :P
Look on the manta ray resto topic. That's not a JR level but I am very happy about it. :y:

Smashing!
Somewhat embarrassingly, I've just noticed that UglyCassanova is doing something like what I had in mind, right now. Hope he finishes it!

An official write up would be easier to find at a later date I suspect though

Brand new vintage parts, mind you. :) B)
Gonna make a runner with the old plates.
Dunno if this build will get off the shelf now...

Arw, Edou, i'm currently thinking about to build up a ta01 touring car but i'm afraid of .... tada! the mounting parts.

If you can kick Waterbok's backside into gear I'm trying to put some home-machined mount kits together, just waiting for the dimensions to work to....

I've already machined up 2 lots of the the 6x spacer thingies (Around November last year), but the 2 uprights that hold the steering bearings are "size" ie there's no clearance for hand-fitting the bearings (Didn't know they had bearings fitted at the time) so I can't put them up for sale until they've been modified/corrected.
In the meantime, I'm trying to get enough info together to produce a "usefully complete" set of bits, just waiting for dimensions & a list of what's actually required

a ta01 touring car

Same idea here. A drifter with the saddlepack setup like waterbok's Evo for balance. :)
And a Manta Ray torque splitter in the front gearbox.
But I think it'll be a TA01 with the longer TA02W size arms (from the Hummer).
Just gotta find an equally wide body for it (possibly using TA02 steering knuckles) or very wide tyres.

Eddrick, I'll have a go at a "minimum required" parts list to put together an FRP chassis - with some manual pics to illustrate.
And I'll do some measuring on the steering mounts today...
