Welcome on board Steve
Your Scorcher looks preety good, the chassis looks like it's doesn't need much more than a light tickle up Missing body bits could be a problem, depending on how much of a purist you are - lights, sunroof, wipers, badge, exhaust & driver are all very similar on the re-release, but door handles, mirrors, number plates & decals are all quite different. |

NICE! Those beautiful curved fenders are so much nicer than the later Blitzer/MB/re-re fenders... -Lars Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.

Lars - I'd never noticed any difference in body shape between old & new. There have been several people asking about the differences between mk1, mk2 & re-re SRBs, perhaps a proper topic/discussion about it might be in order? (With pics showing the differences?)

Thanks guys, I've just bought a re-re body for when I occasionally run this once it's been restored (on the beach only, as it was intended) but I will be fully restoring the original shell to it's former glory using original bits also for when it's sat on the shelf. This way I can have the best of both worlds.
Will be started my build thread very soon so keep your eyes peeled! |

Cheers Bram, but I was thinking more along the lines of an official Tamiyabase thing, something that everyone (Not just Tamiyaclub members) could access, that was easy to find
