Nice ! - Apparently that 280ZX body is exactly the same as the body in the RM kit RA1222.

I was in 2 minds about the Fighter Buggy RX 25th Ann when it was release , and didn't pull the trigger on one. Now I sorta' want one .. Isn't it always the way LOL

That's exactly my intention for the 280ZX body, as I might be planning a tribute build on a modern chassis

Also, I wasn't sure about the Fighter Buggy RX Memorial either, until I saw a couple YT videos about Hoppers through the years and then the dude built one with an RZ motor and I was roped in! Snip from his Vid - how cool is this!:

The motors are missing and the unique parts of the drive operation are missing.
This is the first time I think I’ve made a huge mistake buying something.

At this point I’ll do my usual strip down, clean everything up and see what I’ve got and what’s missing. This feels very challenging at this point, let’s see how bad it is.
I think for the actual body I’m good, the Sherman has been re-released a few times so I think getting plastic body parts is the least of the problems.

It may/may not help, but if you get really stuck for drive parts, Tamiya make a few STEM kits that are tracked vehicles, such as the 70108 Tracked Vehicle Chassis, 70104 Remote Controlled Bulldozer.
You maybe able to use the gearboxes and drivelines??

UPS brought me a couple accordions! The larger box contained a very mad bull, busting to get out I guess . . .

Thanks for the suggestion. I spent another 15 minutes looking at the chassis yesterday and after thinking it wasn’t original, I now believe it is, unfortunately the back end has been hacked about.
Regarding the mechanical bits I need to look at what came with it, there was a small box with an assortment of hers and there were some metal rods / axles in another bag, let’s see if any of it fits or even belongs to this model ???
The instructions seem a bit vague as the gear box has two different set ups, but doesn’t so far seem very clear to me. That could be because I’ve got a lot going on at the minute and it might just require some clear thinking ??

I don't have running experience with this chassis yet, but I do have the Mad Fighter, the Fighter Buggy RX Memorial, and now the Mad Bull.

Purchased from Time Tunnel Models on eBay, and they told me to initiate a return. They said it's an eBay Global Shipping issue, and once they contact them directly, I should receive a full refund. Then they made it sound like I keep the kit, so we'll see! Only thing is I won't have a box to display (like I need a 50th box that needs a home to be displayed, lol!).
