I think that front corner might need a bit of heat on it as well as a good amount of glue and filler !!!!

I got a bunch of parts for my speedrun build today.
The Hobbywing 10BL60 Esc has been laying unused for some time now (bought on sale about 2 years ago), beside the gears that arrived yesterday, the rest came today. I can finally now start the build.. And the Traxxas turnbuckles are wrong as they are M4, so these will be returned and changed for TT02B turnbuckles that I got a tip fits the Hornet well. My project has now offcially more funds into it than a new kit would have costed me |

Hadn't seen this sort of tyre before, supposedly a road tyre for the Lunchbox. Tread pattern is very much like the Sand Blaster as first seen on the back of the Rough Rider, they're very soft, but flexible and thin so while I've no doubt they'd improve grip substantially with stock & slightly tuned motors, I suspect they'd balloon & disintegrate if spun up too much.
Assuming the "9" in 915 is the tyre width (in inches) of a nominal 1:1 real tyre and the "15" is the wheel diameter (again in inches), then a quick bit of maths suggests that the 72mm width of the tyre and the 55mm outer diameter of a Lunchbox wheel translates to 18.5" width & 18" wheel size at 1:10 scale Wild Willy etc - so a SAND BLASTER 1918 - or 22, 22 at 1:12 scale Lunchbox /Pumpkin, etc. [ Attachments: |
