I think many of us can relate.
Lost my father in 04* and that was when I started building scale crawlers and joined the scale4x4rc.org forum which is now defunced.
Most of them on Tamiya TLT axles and in the beginning Traxxas Stamped transmission untill the Axial SCX10 entered the marked in 08 and that transmission started to take over.
Also used Tamiya High Lift axles which is basickly a 6mm wider TLT axle with round pumpkin and lockable diff via a setscrew.
Later my builds was based on the SCX10 V1. All my 3x SCX10 is still V1.

Lost 5 of my relatives in a helicopter crash in 2011, mum same year and my beloved cat in 2012.
So 04-11 was a hard decade for me and got a chronic illness in 2010 and I gets more ill as years goes by.

I have always had Tamiya vehicles from 1990 till now and I`m very greatful I have this hobby. This has kept me sane and I has also met a bunch of great people in this hobby over the years.

Glad you are here Ranger and that you have come back to the hobby.
Maybe start a few resto threads? We like threads here with lots of pictures you know

Managed to get a little RC time today, tested a batch of ORX receivers from Ebay to verify binding & basic operation & left feedback for the seller.

Proper RC; scribed & cut out the polycarb main shell for a 1/10 Celica LB for my TT01-R chassis :)
