I've never tried actually bathing a cat of any dimensions/age, they all have six ends, five of which are very sharp.

Closest I got was giving Barnaby a once over with a wash cloth when he was feeling very unwell with an infection from bites from one of his many fights. I'll see if I can find a photo of him, he was a black & white Bi-colour too, and a heckin' chonker with it.

ETA - colour scan of a black & white photo of a black & white cat, autumn 1981 IIRC:

Come to think of it, Oscar also needed regular goings over with baby wipes after he'd come in stinking of foxes - maybe it would have been better if someone had got him used to baths when he was younger.

Here is my former cat Ole as a kitty, even then the claws was never far way as you see.
As an adult he was 6kg with pure muscles and no fat.
I tried to shower him one time only and I had a 90x90cm shower with glass doors and he managed to press his face so forward that he pryed those glass doors. They did nearly break as the bended nearly 10cm.
His claws grabbed the door rail guides at the bottom, hence why he was able to bend those doors due to the traction.
I never tried to wash/shower him again in fear of breaking glass doors or me ending looking like strimmles of meat

Never tried to wash my current cat as his claws will be everywhere.
But I have washed his forehead/ears one time with a damp cloth with green soap to get rid of the infected hole as green stinky mass was coming out after a catfight some weeks prior.
The green soap worked wonders for the infection. Also works on your nails if you got a infection after ripping your nail. Just use  band-aid and some green soap and the infection will be gone next day.

As lovely as our 2 cats are, they’d rip me to pieces if I tried to wash them.
Sorry no photos, Charlie has black fur so it’s pretty impossible to get a half decent picture.
Our other cat Rosie has been known to to make herself very much at home in somebody else’s house.

Beautiful cats!

I am a dog person and have nightmares about even being in the same house as someone attempting to bath a cat!!!

I've raided the spare parts & assembled a pair of 62.5mm CVAs for the front of a Brat build I have in progress. I have a set of CRP mounts ready to be fitted for the top end.
Also on the ORV theme, I've stripped, cleaned, ballraced & reassembled a Super Blackfoot gearbox. This is destined for a monster chassis, probably with a lexan Beetle body. I'm hoping to get enough power for wheelies from a Peak Dynasty 19T spec motor. My previous Super'foot is "almost" there with a Super Stock TZ motor, but if the Dynasty won't cut it, I have several other lower wind / multi wind brushed motors available. Failing that of course, there's always brushless.
