So far this us it after a few hard hits. It's enough that I cut the bumper line as the rest seems to be sticking well so I'm wondering if I may not have sprayed the bumper enough with predip. I'm going to try some plasti dip on another shell as it seems to like to stick to crap like this by nature and can be peeled off if not good.

Ok just watched a youtube vid where a person painted the outside of the lexan shell with a proper sandable primer and then a really nice two tone paint, I think the primer is the missing component from making this work and im order 3 shells, one for me to try to score and paint without primer rc style , one for plasti dip and one for this technique. I will document the process and results. im starting to see a few vids where people do what i do with good results and I am still blaming not enough predip on the bumper...Prep prep prep and prep again...

Ok so I got a alfa gtv and a pugeout 206. I'm gonna go tamiya paint on the alfa and I'm gonna go reverse with car paint and primer on the Peugeot. I strongly feel I botched the prep on the Lexus as I didn't dip it enough. I gave the alfa a full on bath and it feels much more tacky now.

Yipes that ps spray is very small. Barely enough for even a solid 3 coats .... do they make it in larger sizes.??? Smells and cures faster than dupli....and a bit thin for my arm.

With a tamiya can, you should paint a TGX body.

The tgx is the first 1/8tamiya onroad gp rc .
And for your body, you can try to find rims with a big offset and use long wheeles hexagonal adaptors.
