Test fitted the 1UP Racing battery bullets.
Mine is 5mm version, also available in 4mm.
These are awesome as they lock down with the thumb screw so they can't come out.
Battery wires needs to solder to these as normal bullets.

Yesterday I made the esc stand out of 1.6mm FRP.
Used Axial SCX10 servo mounts to hold the esc in place.

The 3d printed gearbox arrived in Germany last week and the designer has already made it complete and fitted to his car.
Not yet test driven yet.
When testing is done and all is good to go I will be given a few options and then it will be on the way to me.

I will also order a few parts in a week or so.

Wires arrived and they are too fat!!
Ordered 12 AWG and it was clearly too big.
Also the yellow is normal yellow and not bright yellow as picture showed...
The yellow wire is also less bright in real life vs this picture

In my box of NIB parts I found this package of Topcad 14 AWG wire and this is more like it.
Will use the black wire and since it has writing on it I want to also get 14 AWG in white with writing on it. Ordered it on ebay as there was non to be found here....
Since I can't find the shade of yellow I want I'm going to swap from white/yellow to white/black.

For what its worth, I've been restoring one as well and there is a dude in GB /  ebay that 3D prints beefy front bumpers if you need one. The Super Astute shares quite a bit of parts with the Dyna Storm as well. I've bee cross referencing the instruction manuals and part numbers. (wing mounts and wing stay, gear box bits...etc.)
