Hornet body finished now apart from the race numbers which an annoying (badword) ebay member is taking his time about. chrome effect window tints look good, and as there is no driver it hides all the electrickery inside.
new chrome spacers for the front springs which makes it much more rigid and handles the bumps better plus a little chrome ring on the front body mount to protect the paint from the R clip that holds it on. sorry about the "badword" quality photos! |

thanks Edou. unfortunately i have just about come to an end of Hopping the Hopper.
only thing left to do will be to upgrade the shocks but that will have to wait until next year when hopefully i can afford to buy some. all that i can do now is take it out and THRASH it around (if the rain ever stops!) and hopefully we may get a bit of snow soon, that will be fun |

Guess one's gotta consider a car to be finished at some point.
Not the strongest advocate of that myself, looking at my threads. But I'm thinking this topic will be viewed anyway. Jonny's Cheetah wreck resto is still going strong also... |

Got a tip about these. Thought they might be an idea for the new year...
Cheap as chips - someone tested them and they held very well. He also mentioned you could get rid of the colour by leaving them in bleech for about an hour. Btw - It's not mentioned in the ad but they're oil filled. Although I don't suspect them to be pre-filled... |
