Great idea. Black fits the Hornet better I think.

body all masked up, front end reinforced and damaged bits repaired. just waiting for a few bits of filler to harden then its a quick flat over, then off to the paint shop. (my kitchen!)

spoiler painted, body primered, couple of blemishes that needs a tickle here and there but i am well happy with it so far, especially the repair on the front headlight mount.
going to be good and patient now and leave them for 24 hours before i start fiddling.

Hornet body all sprayed up now, still masked up. gotta be a patient boy and leave it for 24 hours to dry properly. then the roll cage will be painted white, chrome effect side windows, and a silver mesh for the front windscreen.

right, so im waiting for the Hornet body to dry so i thought i would fettle with the Hopper. as i cant afford new shocks at the moment i thought i would tart up the originals. looks good with the hopper body on and i think it would look nice with the black hornet body too.

also, i have fitted the front post to mount the hornet body. i was hoping i could use the post to mount the hopper body as well and fill in the original screw holes on the front but the post does not sit high enough through the body to get a clip through the hole so i will just have to leave it with the 2 screws on the front. but it looks ok i think.

Hornet body fitted, now, still got to tint the windows, fit a front screen and fit the stickers. looks good i think. total contrast to the white Hopper.

paint still needs a good polish but i will leave it a few days before i do that

Looks good - I think with the extra bling on the car it doesn't need any stripes :)

new rear strut mount brace fitted today, idea i got from a local rc racer. you can buy aluminium ones from ebay but this is simply made from a peice of plastic tube. looks good with the hopper body but cant really see it to well with the hornet body.
