I have a Fox that only needs a new pair of lower rear a arms... no luck on ebay tonight... they were from R Parts #0115037. I would also be ok with a pair of Hot Trick or similar. Let me know, thanks!

I would rather buy a pair then start dremeling plastic or aluminum on my own.

Well me too - but given the absence of Fox spares it was either that or having the car flopping about unfinished on the shelf :(

Didn't we look at this before? - Foxes appear to be quite rare in the UK, but abundant in Oz & the states? (Or did I just imagine that?!)
If that really is the case, then Motorslug will be able to go shopping by price rather than availability, rather like SRB bits here in the UK!

I stumbled upon the Fox at my neighborhood thrift shop. I knew after carefully checking it out that the only parts it needed were new lower rear a-arms. If I knew obtaining these parts was such an ordeal however, I might have passed on it. I may decide to fabricate my own one day, who knows... any pointers anyone might have in the meantime are appreciated.

Here's a pic I took before I started to disassemble and clean...

P.S. - The charger is on eBay.

well, like I said above, I THOUGHT it was only the UK that had a "Fox rarity" issue, so maybe you're just not looking in the right places?
If you're having difficulty sourcing parts for it, maybe keep an eye out on Ebay for another semi-complete/broken one, to use for spares?
You never know though, this one might be "The one" that you bite the bullet & teach yourself some "make it yourself" skills! - V useful skills to have, & well worth learning...

The first place I looked was eBay, worldwide. Then I Googled for a few hours. There are not many hobby shops left in New York, and the one I hit yesterday was no help. I'm not about to spend $300.00 for a shelf queen just to have a spare buggy either. As far as "make it yourself" skills, I have those, don't worry.

I'd be very surprised if you found any in proper shops...
Have a look on Ebay UK - basket cases come up cheapish from time to time (Last I saw was a couple of weeks ago 40gbp)& although the seller hasn't listed worldwide, if you ask them nicely, sometimes they'll oblige.
Other option would be specialist vintage Tamiya dealers, who although might not list the parts on their website, can get them if you ask - Time Tunnel models are pretty good for that, & the name Goldstar stockists is lighting lights in my head (Might not be anything to do with toy cars though!). There's also a trader on Ebay UK Victor101 (Or victor101car, or something like that) who often gets vintage bits in

I know (but don't really understand) about the rarity of RC shops in New York...
A friend of mine went there so I thought that was an opportunity for some US parts.
But I found there's only one or two shops left in the whole area!

:S
