I was thinking of picking one of these kits up for my birthday next January but having read the spec sheet for the kit you only get the bare bones chassis no motor or esc is even included and i was wondering what i should look for especially in terms of pinion as apparently you dont even get one of these  ?

I'm sticking a brushed 19T motor & suitable ESC in mine, with a 18 tooth 48dp pinion. Don't forget the kit comes with bronze bushings, so budget for a proper set of bearings too

HI!... Hurry up and buy one. There were only 2500 kits made. 95% are already gone. The one's that are still available are sky rocketing in price. Glad I bought mine when I did.

I've heard that before, but just because chancers have been putting them on eBay at inflated prices doesn't necessarily show that anyone's paid that - or have they? If so, I'd have expected the remaining UK stock to have been bought up & repatriated to north America; there are several on eBay for 225 GBP or less, Modelsport.co.uk have "good stock" at 209 GBP, MB Models have nine at 208.99 GBP ... I'm not sure about other UK retailers, they were the first two I checked. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I have the kit & bought it when I did (June), but if I'd held off until now I could have saved ...
...6 GBP ;)

For me it would be the Pajero... All day long. I only do Tamiya.

Pajero is the cooler of the 2 by far, in my eyes.

Yes that is what i thought too i definitely prefer Tamiya the only thing putting me off is it a cc-01 chassis and i already have one on my toyota land cruiser 40 but that bieng said its still an awesome chassis and id like to build another and the body is better on the pajero bieng hard plastic not polcarbonate.

Well i have to say up to now i am not very impressed with my Rc10 classic kit. I started building it last night and i had the same problem as JR with the front uprights needing some work to allow the mounting pin to fit through they were just too tight a fit. Also i have found one of the part bags bag B is missing one of the small e-clips to mount the front arms which has brought my build to a stand still as the kit does not have any spares included. I have emailed Team Associated and i am waiting for a response. It was definitely a missing part as i use magnetic dishes to hold the parts and its not here the kit does not feel as nicely finished as Tamiya efforts.
