:) Waterbok
You're alright but with a TF I think that he doesn't make his own car. Jut like he want.
If I had enough money, I had a full hop uped MR and a TF evo to. Just to have twins. An original and a hopuped one. (I homit the terra conqueror)

I have receive some parts:

So I though it was time to rebuild the beast but brushless this time!

I took it for some bashing on the street. It is crazy fast!!! :woohoo:
It is almost stock. With only the ball bearings, the plastic gears and the aluminum motor mount.

Unfortunately my front left wheel lock nut fell down and I lost it.
And I don't have any spare one...
But apart that, everything went well.

Hi guys,

I finally had some time to spent bashing this rig. I went to a dirt and rock trail. I spent almost 1 hour with only one battery (LiPo cutoff at 3.6V). I was not bashing like crazy all the time but wow... That's some great battery life.

But I had two problems. The first is that the battery is 1 or 2 mm longer that the old one. I am not able to use the original battery case locker. And my workaround is not solid enough. I have to find a better idea (any one? :)).

The second problem came from the shocks. I've had some rollover during the run. And the head came of of two of the shocks (one front and one back). So I really need to change the towers and the shocks by something harder.

Why don't you test to put your batt holder on the other side with cutting the reinfort?
For your shocks, You can test on the GPM site with aloy ones and make alloy towers

I'm not sure to understand your idea.
The problem is with my poor workaround. I lost the batt holder... :)
But I will figure out something.

I already plan to buy some alloy shocks. And I already have carbon fiber tower. But I need some TF parts to mount them.

I went to the GPM website. I found they are selling arms for the MR.But both models are for the front??? Maybe an error. I've just asked them. I didn't find anyone who sell them.

How about using a strip of velcro to keep the battery in place?
Everybody's always losing that battery holder...

:S

Alloy arms look cool but the plastic ones absorp more impact so replacing them may show other vulnerabilities...
The carbon fiber shock tower definitely is a good upgrade.

I was thinking about velcro too. :)

Exactly, too much rigidity is not always the best solution. But it looks so cool!
I'm also trying to reduce the play in the drive trains, and maybe it could help a bit.

Shimming out the C hubs on the arms makes a huge difference in that respect also. :)

Feels really solid then - not so sloppy anymore. :cheer:
