One of my favourite tools (that I use for it) is the (automotive) feeler gauge.
This allows for measurements of around 0.05mm. Suiting the Tamiya shims well. The alloy GPM arms do look excellent with that open structure... Must be a typo that both part numbers are specified for the front. Hadn't seen them before (specifically for Manta Ray) - wondering if they're a new item. |

I have to buy one of this tool too, with shims in different thickness.
I've ordered those alloy arms for 35€ (44$), including shipping to France. The rear one was mislabeled. They have already made the correction! You can get them in silver or blue. I took the silver. It will look great with this shocks . And the knuckles and c-hubs will be already blue. |

I often buy handfulls of cheapy feeler gauges, specifically for hacking up into shims of known thickness. Far cheaper than buying proper shim-stock of various sizes for tiddly toy car bits

Indeed. I will take an alloy one. I should have ordered one with the arms.

Do you know what the screw holes on the opposite side of the shock mount screw holes are designed for?
Is it for some kind of stabilizer? If yes where I can find some? |
