There's a number of Irifune Tamiya RC cards (about twice the size of a postcard) on eBay UK ATM, some are boxart, some are action shots that Tamiya didn't use.
I bought the Wild Willy one, which has a shot of the camo version with silver driver helmet, TBH the back is more interesting - I scanned it & got Google to translate it. I thought Irifune was meant something like "appertaining to boats or ships", but other than that the translation seems pretty good Attachments: |

The body is well painted & assembled although does show tell tale signs of it's age. The chassis is very clean, if it has been run then I suspect only indoors. Electrics are far too moedrn to be original but that's no issue, I will replace with period Acoms. I will also replace the motor, it looks like a modern Chinese one to me with the steel can & stamped metal endbell, but I have a nice black plastic Mabuchi that is much more period correct. I'm sorely tempted by a blue plastic RS 540SD Endurance on Ebay, but reluctant to spend another £40 on that.
Front tyres of course are cracked & split as expected, although the rears are remarkably good, just a little hardened by age. I'm going to buy some Stock car foam tyres & see how they are for size, although if I do fit them I will try to get new wheels & leave the originals intact as they are nicely painted. Attachments:

My very first one, seems the timing has been such that I am behind the door when these are handed out. LOL The body was the draw for me...
Got a nice set of bearings and set of blue aluminum shocks for it, other than that looks quite adequate for a nice little driveway racer...
