Another lego classic arrived yesterday 🤗🤗🤗

Anything that says "Octan" on it is marvelous.

'Yes octan is the life not only on lego.... sound flames and the odor of the gasoline..... 🤤😁

My luckiest catch ever! The Tamiya Toyota Celica GT-Four RC ’92 WRC Driver’s Champion arrived yesterday at a good price. It looks amazing, and I plan to restore it in the future.

 

A few bits turned up today.
I was missing the driver from my Subaru Brat, shame I had to buy a whole parts tree.

And just in case I want to try an alternate colour scheme on my Honda City Turbo, a new set of wheels and tyres. And I’m also trying to get a spare body set together.

Finally this one came in the mail today.Ordered it two weeks ago along with some small parts that were of course in remote storage😐I've never bought anything from this website before, had to pay almost 200 euros for it.So I have to say it was a good buy.

A few more bits and bobs have turned up.
Firstly some more 3D printed Cheetah parts.

 

I saw someone advertising the Cheetah front bumper for sale. These I’ve found to be hard to find, I guess for obvious reasons.
I ordered 2 so was surprised when 4 turned up. The top 2 are actually bigger and look like experiments.
The bottom 2 are the correct size.

 

Top one here 3D printed and bottom one is original.
I haven’t done a test fit yet. I’m also sure with a bit of sanding and a few alterations you could get the shape a bit closer, but these are fine for me.

 

Finally a set of wheels and tyres, I think they are supposed to be Ford Escort ones.
I was considering using them on my Fiat 131 Abarth. They look close enough to originals of the day and add a point of difference from box art, we’ll see.

Another final thing, I’ve been buying more Toyota / Blazing Blazer parts so much against my better judgment chassis no. 5 is on going !!!! I must be mad. Updates to be posted.

Finally got a myself a Yeti.




Already partially upgraded with several alloy parts.



Now I have not only its shrued clones, but also the original vehicle from 2014. .., yes, I think that I'm a happier person now.

Right, the wheels are from the RR10 Bomber. My Yeti came with some oversized tires on purple rims which really make themselves more useful on the Bomber.
