I believe it's about time for an update

So, the M1025 got cleaned up and running gear in order, with new tires:





I think this starts where I left off, for new shares:

Sweet, It looks great!

So this turned up today.
58127 Castrol Honda Civic VTi.
It popped up on eBay and it caught my eye.
The good news is the body set is complete, decals, cockpit set, drivers head and wing mirrors.
The bad news is I’m pretty much missing everything else. There were a few chassis parts, but all of the hardware and internals are not present.
So far I’ve located a few bits, I’ll post an update on what I feel I should call the money pit when things arrive.
The box is mint though !!!

I have also broken my rule for this year, no more projects !!!! Darn it.

The first rule of having too many projects is that you will start more projects 😉

Nice score Al, the proper box too!

I have built a few of these with the Civic body over the years but never from the right kit.

Let me know if you if you need anything as I have quite a spares stash for the Civic and the FF series.

Just bought that same Honda/Castrol body set from Tower which they still sell brand new with that livery, very surprised......

I have already ordered a bunch of stuff, but I’ll still be missing loads.
That’s cool the body set is still available, it’s a cool looking car.
As the body set is totally complete I can only assume somebody only wanted this for the chassis. This era of models is completely new to me.

The ff01 is one of my favourite tamiya chassis. I begun with the clio after the 2 primera ( the blue was the special edition with hop ups) and had up to 20 years ago the opportunity to buy the last jaccs civic in France . So, I kept only the clio and the calsonic primera wich has been hopuped with gpm parts. I will see if I have spares.
