I don't cry yet because tbey are at my dad's home. But I  would like can take them in hands when I want. I will have a garage box really close the house. After move and installation,  I will see if I could make my mancave/workshop in the garage. 🤞

The "Comical's" are great.  Short wheelbase is so twitchy to control, even better when the front wheels spend half the time in the air
Daughter loves her Frog, haven't built my Hornet yet.  And the Hot Shot is next on the list.

Hello gents and happy 2026, the glorious 50th year anniversary for Tamiya R/C!
Time to play catch-up again on what models the mailman has dropped off since my last update:

The postman delivered this today.
I love being able to get hold of the original manual to go with any of my vintage models.

Nice one Al! I've always enjoyed getting a used manual with some wear from the original build in it. (though still in VG condition)

Cheers Jim, this one is in pretty good condition, some rust marks from the staples in the gutter of the spreads, but I don’t care.
I also find it easier doing a build from the physical instructions rather than when I have to use a download. No idea why, probably the size works better ?????

That may be it and I agree. Even printing one out seems to be somewhat lackluster compared to that lovely blue hue!! :)

I recently acquired my second Tamiya 1/24th Tamtech scale model, the Lancia LC2! The model includes the body, decals, and masking! But it looks like its missing the controller so I’ll have to look into that.

Nice! It looks mint. The original tx is a futaba attack in 75mhz (if it's the same as in France).
