Super score Scanox !! For my money the most valuable part of that whole lot would be diggin through that box of bits and possibly coming up with a gem of an anti sway bar or the like! I can't tell you how many of these lots Ive gotten over the tears and they are gold!!..............BTW they are mostly gone as well so well done to come across this one....
Lovely MEXICO VW body, lots of fun run time there it would appear...

I think you're right, haven't had time to look through the old parts lists yet.

I recently got my very first Tamiya TGX Mk.1! It’s the 44003 Tamiya Nismo Clarion GT-R LM. The body has a few cracks, but overall, it’s in pretty good condition. To be sure, the chassis did come with good tires, but I’m wondering if there are any alternative slick tires that can fit on these wheels?

I sold all my tgx. I wanted the clarion but had the kure one. The penzoil is awesome to. But on the skyline , the clarion is the prettiest for me. (I kept my ta02 one new built in the box)

TGX uses 2.0" wheels so Optima on-road should fit. Thundershot also use 2.0 wheels so if you something listed for that they should fit, if they have same width. Sadly most things these days have either 1.9" (regular touring) or 2.2" which is the modern size. Some Tamiya do use 2.2 wheels.

My pre-order of the FORD Zakspeed Capri MAMPE livery turned up last week - I'd forgotten that I pre-ordered it until it turned up .
This is the first kit in years that been supplied with an ESC . For many years now it seems that the kits we have gotten in Australia have been supplied without an ESC ( or the wholesalers removed them?? ) - I always had to buy them. Attachments: |
