Well, here it is, my 1/5 scale, 2 stroke chainsaw engine powered buggy. VERY heavy but the quality is surprisingly high. Fabrique en Chine as we say here in my house but everything is just massive. This model got great reviews and for a fraction of the price of some 1/5 scale vehicle from Tower or the like....

1:5 scale is monsters.
No space for such scale in my house. Enough with the 1:8 BAJA 5B esque I got for free a short while ago.. Looks great!

Thanks!
Can't wait to take it out to the local schoolyard (free of tikes of course!! ) and let 'er rip! I've largely scaled back my collection over the past year as I am having more fun getting them dirty than building them. This one was one of those Asian discount superstores and shipping by container which took 6 weeks but I couldn't pass it up... Well worth the wait and plenty of spares available. (A must as I break stuff!)

I had and still kept some of big scale 1/5 and 1/4 rc. It's a fact.... big scales are big scales. I had a mrc 1/5 with a fg megane body, a 1/2 go kart wich is now in australia destroyed by the travel in Andy house. And now, I kept my old marder beetle and a rare never ran clio williams 1/4. I don't know where I will stock them nor how transport them in the focus....... I remind me 22 years ago in the beginning of our relation with my wife. I took the marder to run it with 3yo son and we had to move rear seats to put the marder into her peugeot 106. 🤣

To be honest, run a 1/5 like the marder, is a pleasure. Very easy to start. And the marder was only rwd. So a 4wd should be exceptionnel 🤤

This is my first one and I have wanted one for a while but the price was just ridiculous so when i found this one, I jumped on it.
Great stories Flo about trying to squeeze one of these in a smaller car. LOL Most of the buggies were 2wd and I was surprised to see this was one of the only ones that offered 4wd. Looked at some with truck bodies but for some reason they are way more expensive than just the increase in body cost...
