@scanox -  I was going to suggest suspension pins but I see you already have those ... motor? Of the new crop of Tamiya motors the GT Tuned II has a bloo label but is 25T, the Lightly-Tuned Motor II has a bit of bloo on the label and is 28T, but TBH I'm not sure it it's really any "better" than the kit Torque Tuned?

If you're determined to go full bloo and are prepared to go off brand, I'm sure there's a bloo alloy wheelie bar, there's bloo alloy wheel nuts, there's bloo alloy servos like the SPT 4412LV (low profile, high torque and metal gears) & the Carson CS-5 but it's more teal than bloo ;)

Thanks Johnny.
I completely forgot about wheel nuts!
I was thinking of sticking with Tamiya 😄 but a blue servo would fit in well.

Howdy everyone, I'm trying to post here with pic links but keep getting an error!
Edit: Looks like I was trying to paste too many links at once? I had to add them a couple at a time for some reason.

And now for an overdue update, and someone please add the new tamiya motors to the Motor database!

Hey Todd! Good to hear from ya! Great lot, thinking about picking up a new VZ for my upcoming R91CP build, great packaging as always!

Hey Todd! Good to hear from ya! Great lot, thinking about picking up a new VZ for my upcoming R91CP build, great packaging as always!

You may find this info useful for the new motors. I spent a few hours testing to compare to the nearest older version motors:
  • The new motors live up to their claimed numbers, but only when advanced.
  • The VZ comes advanced +15 from the factory, all others at zero.
  • There's an odd discrepancy with the VZ RPM claims, box versus paper insert.
  • All four paper inserts reference the same Item 22096-99, and replacement brushes as 19803574.
  • The new GT-Tuned II is everything the old one never was @ 7.2V.
  • The new Lightly Tuned II is closer to what the old one wanted to be.
  • The new Super Stock VZ meets it's box RPM claim when advanced, but falls short of all the Super Stock Zs.
  • The LT Torque-Tuned overachieves it's box claim when advanced, and at zero it's what the CR Tuned wanted to be.
    • It's pulling some decent amps compared to the others, so I'll bet the torque is comparable or better.
  • This is all RPM of course, without being able to compare claimed torque, as the VZ is the only one to list it on the box.
  • All motors had a 15 minute condition run at 3V

A legend arrived last week.  If you can't buy tamiya,  buy lego. The lego speed  back to the future de lorean ( the small and cheaper version) is at home.
very nice and realistic.

edit: thank you fripouille for the aeration holes on the sofa....🙃 better than on a brabus g klass leather seat....

I scored this awesome XB model, sans whatever body it originally came with, all decked out with a YR red chassis kit and some nice aluminum wheels! I plan to shorten the WB and use it to run my pre-painted version of the 911 GT3 R on some MST wheels.

And these li'l guys mean that I definitely "need" to pick up an SCX30 soon:

I've gotta say that is probably the finest red anodizing I have ever seen. Totally makes me want a TT02. LOL

Nice find Todd.
