Hi all 😊 Recently we had the Vintage Bash 4.0 here in Australia, Originally I wasn't entered but having attended the previous 3 it felt a little strange 😮 Lucky for me a Friend who had entered 2 classes for the 4wd day asked me to take his pre '89 spot, Looking through the collection I picked the Vanquish (rere) running a tourque tuned. I don't run 4wd normally so this would be interesting. 4 rounds and not that it matters and I didn't run under my name haha I managed a 5th, 2nd, 4th and 3rd in what I deamed the Optima cup hahaha.

In the middle of selling some of my collection, I was moving cars around on the display shelves. Looking at the Mud Blaster I started to wonder where all the bits for the body were, Then it occured to me that when I sold a brat last year I threw in all these extra brat body parts I didn't think I needed
I'm not going to buy any replacement bits because it wont add value, the Mud Blaster also dosen't seem to get much love compared to the BF and MB so what to do? I have had this OG Sand Rover body for ages and trying to figure out what to do with it, This seems to be the best option. Something unique which may help it sell

I've been updating shocks settings on various RC cars herer, mostly swapping oil or adding oil. I've noticed that I have left several cars without shock oil, only a drop or two to keep it from drying out and letting the spring work.
I'm using an oil from Biltema, a 10W fork oil for motorcycles. It seems to work well. What do you think? I've seen some really hard oils in my recent buys, but since I'm not jumping or bashing my cars I think that a softer oil is better. I'm using this oil : www.biltema.se/...2000022969 Attachments:

So, during the Vintage Bash 3.0 running the FXT with my Williams livery and white DT10 wheels, I managed to crack one of the rear wheels
Although not super rare, they are rare enough to find in Aus. Managed to find a pair with bonus tyres in France but unfortunately at the time seller didn't ship to Aus
Fast forward to now and the seller had added international shipping
The stock FXT wheels are great but just don't look right with this body
