Finally after a year, I finished the brother to my fAuxStute built - the 1980s' explosion Super Astute 


I'll bore you all with lots of pics with different tire and wheel combos, because it just begs for color:

Today I cleaned my workbench and storage charged all my lipo batteries.

Today, I finished this FAV for a customer and am now waiting for a radio set of his to finish up.

No way was I going to try a camo finish on the driver......

Nice job on that FAV Jim, I think you’ve done the right thing leaving the driver in a block colour. You could always add some high lights or some tone to the face, but it’s a great piece of work.

I sold mine some weeks ago an original and I already regret it. The paint was darker but I loved it. It's my last airbrushed body.

I got the final part for my FAV resto just before Christmas and now I’m slightly intimidated by the paint job !!!!

Nothing to it really Al, honestly there isn't a lot of paint to do. I am not especially good at it, its gonna look great, I've seen your work!!
