Oh Yessss! You're right. The lancia with martini racing livery are the best ones. I kept the delta ta01 and the 037 ta03rs.

Congrats on both Scanox but especially the first gen. This one was always on my radar as a kid but I couldn't afford it so I went with the Brat as my LHS only had so much stock in the early 80's. Fell in love with the 540 motor and those wonderful wheels and tires!!!!
Given its rarity etc. calling it a gem is very accurate Extremely well done! |

Hi all. Nearly 2 months ago a friend held an invitational event at his country property, He had built a wonderful track for us to enjoy. I took a few cars, BBX, Super Blackfoot and TXT1. At lot of laughs were had but of course "Tamiya" I broke some stuff too hahaha. Super Blackfoot front shock tower didn't make it haha I had a local custom carbon company make a new one, The TXT1 front baces that the shocks / links and bumper mount to broke also so I ordered the upgrade alloy versions. Fitted up these parts tonight and they are ready to go again

That looked like a lot of fun indeed!
If I ever get my own property I want to make a small track for vintage buggies. The one that was local to me that was suitable-ish for Tamiya vehicles was demolished last year due to very little to no usage. Seems folks either want indoor track or 1:8 tracks, I have both 30min drive from me. Indoor ones for modern buggies are not for me, don`t like a bunch of strangers at one place either. |
