Finished assembling the parts car Turns out it's a Terra scorcher, I even had the body set and wheels. I will paint and sticker the body but that's as far as it will go, It would need a bumper and pressed motor plate to make it a runner. If I consider you can buy new kit for $200 it makes no sense to buy just those 2 parts for around $80 Unless someone has them lying around haha.

Great job and a beauty! I remember saving for one of these (much easier as a teenager!) and being very impressed when comparing to my original 83 Brat.

One of the best boxes in my opinion as well!

Just wanted to throw this out as I look at these gorgeous RC cars in glass cases. How do folks feel about sitting rc's on their wheels vs. suspended?

I guess I never thought much about it but always suspended mine on a spare tire or something so the tires wouldn't flat spot though I have no idea how long it would take for that to happen. (or if its even a real problem)

Of course, type of tire, weight of vehicle and length of time it sat are all variables but just curious what my fellow TB folks do....

Agree with you, I have made plexiglass stands for most of my cars. It's basically pretty simple. Measure and cut the sheets, heat carefully with a heat gun and bend to the right angle.
