Hey Flo. Yeah, carburetor, engine, the buggy. Everything is brand new with only 20 minutes of use on it and like you, I wanted to go an eighth or a quarter turn, but they are very adamant. In the manual about not adjusting the carburetor during break in, but I have a feeling I may have to do it anyway.  Fuel is brand new,  oil is brand new.I really feel like a blockage or dirt is not really gonna be an issue , though not impossible... Thanks as always for helping!!

Did you put enough oil or maybe too many?

All good there Flo , but I do have some breaking news ( well sort of! Lol!!) but very important nonetheless, I did find that the high side is supposed to be bottomed out, and then one and a quarter turn out. Mine was only one turn out meaning. It was a quarter turn in too far. This makes perfect sense, and this would be where I would have opened it up to start troubleshooting.  Raining here in New Hampshire, but as soon as it stops, I'm gonna take it out and fire it up and see what the throttle response looks like when it warms up. Thanks for helping me brainstorm Flo!!!

Nice to learn it . I'm too happy that you can run your petit gros. My marder beetle is waiting since almost 20 years. And my mrc 1/4 had never run in my hand and it's a factory built .

I killed a dîff and a lot of tires on the marder. One of my favourite rc if you have enough space to run it and very easy to run it.

They are in my dad's garage and far to me for rhe moment.  The marder has full aloy engine support, full aloy diff(I melted the original one with a poor gravel) and a K&N air filter. The clio is "out of box " with mrc team body paint. (This one was one of the lasts keeped by mrc and sold to my friend who has the oldest french rc shop)
