Spent ages drawing up a 2027 calendar, but ultimately I won't be going ahead with it
There were lots off issues: disproportionate number of Wheelers & HCTs, almost everything on the same base & backdrop, high cost (would have been c. 17GBP UK, 19GBP EU, 21GBP ROW) for A4 opening up to A3, little to no seasonality - but what really killed it was a lack of a snowy scene I hadn't used before for December. I could put up with all the other issues, but there HAS to be snow for Christmas. Instead i bought a 30x30cm (opening to 30x60cm) Moomin Calendar instead, for 5GBP. posted. I'm not totally against an RC calendar, but it would have to be better than what I can do on my own. Anyone up for a group effort TamiyaBase 2028 calendar?

Have been building a TT-02R chassis - blue bling comes with the chassis kit, the pinkish dampers are HopUps . The kit does come with upgrade oil dampers , but I decided these "fancy" ones look the part. Kit comes with the high speed gear set and a blue allow motor mount. The chassis kit don't come with a body, but that's fine. I have a few spare bodies that would be a good fit (I think) . Oh, blue bling cooling fins for the motor isn't in these shots, but does come with the chassis kit - as do bearings.

So after receiving my Nichimo Lancia Stratos yesterday. Today I sorted through those random bits you always seem to get in an old model purchase. The nicest thing is probably the original Sand Scorcher number plate. I’d love to know what someone had used s Sand Rover windscreen for, it’s been cut down and folded in the middle ? The SRB axles will come in handy I’m sure. I doubt I’ll use them, but it’s nice to have the Nichimo battery boxes. The motors will be useful, a nice white end bell 540 and I’m sure I need a 380 for something. Attachments: |

* and the surpass motors are awesome. I have a 17t I used a little on the blitzer beetle. I did small wheelings with it. ( before the rear shocks post broke. After 4 minutes)

I have heard good things about these motors. Though I have now decided as the rest of this chassis is fitted out with a lot of Tamiya blue "bling , I'm going to fit a Tamiya motors and keep it true to the brand. Not sure which motor yet though .. one of these (see image). Attachments: |

Today I spent some time sorting the electrics of the Aeromax chassis and getting it functional. My goals have recently shifted to getting everything painted outside that I would like and staged for the late Autumn and Winter.
Used a new esc I had laying around for a Dual hunter or such, I don't see a problem just running one motor off of it.. Attachments: |
