...So I need to get my backside in gear & get the bits listed for sale then really.
Was gonna leave it until I'd got around to doing the other 2x wing mounts & bung the bits on Ebay on Sunday.

How ready are we? Is there anything else needed? Do I list on here or on the bay?

An auction might best be done on eBay. After all, they've got the system for it...
Might also serve the biggest audience (non-forumers as well) for a good end result.
Let's certainly hightlight that auction here on TB though!

Or is the consensus that this TB project should therefore only be accessible for Tamiyabasers? :) ;)

Ultimately it's eddrick's prerogative of course, having put in all the effort...

I think most people wouldn't know the difference between between CFRP, prepreg CFRP & black GRP if it jumped up & bit them on the badword

I don't see any bends on those drawings, so I've got to ask, why prepreg? If you don't need to make a complex shape, you're making it far more expensive & difficult for yourself re the tooling & machinery you need.

Yep those plates are flat. no bends or such.

Kemmatech - Plan is to stick a set on Ebay, to see what people are willing to pay, then adjust prices to a sensible level for reliable sales, whilst hopefully not putting myself in a position where price means I'm paying someone to take them off my hands!

Edou - Ebay first to get a feel for what they're worth, then if they're worth doing on a bigger scale I'll list them cheaper on Tamiyabase for members only

FRP - cutting the stuff is a pain. If there's gonna be a lot of them, it might be worth doing a mould to form the parts the right shape in the first place.
In any case, the shape is too complex to cut manually, you need CNC to do it, so that pretty much gets cheap hobbyists out of the picture (Unless we know someone with access to suitable equipment)

I think kemmatech has somebody at hand who has a CNC watercutter hence the dxf's needed. ;)
