Finally got around to sanding off all the filler I put on a while back, there are a few areas that need a bit more attention before I can get primer on it.

That came a long way from being broken into pieces.

I can't believe the amount of effort you put into your builds, Jonny. But the effort pays off, so this one should be great as well.

That primer you are using looks nice. What brand/type is it?

Ta I had yet to do much on the chassis yet... + I'm still on the lookout for a rear gearbox cover - it's a part that just doesn't seem to come up on it's own, & there seems to be no such thing as a "cheap" XR311 or Cheetah any more - I did miss one that went for 20 GBP, but otherwise a figure around 50 GBP is moe normal for a total shitter - I'm not spending that much on one part

You do a really thorough job of proofreading then Lars?

XR311 G-parts 10005806 at JR-RC a 10r incl. shipm. he has 3 in stock.

Nice job on the hull in the back, waterline looks sharp

A small update - I sprayed the Cheetah wheels (in Audi "Silver" & clear) at the same time I did the Wild Willy ones ...



Despite soaking in gylcerinne for months, the flat spots are still really obvious on one of the tyres ...



... the best I can do is hide the flattest parts on the inside & put that one on the rear

I've sanded down after the last batch of filler - this is the rear:

Vents cut out, marking up for lights (same 3 5mm LED holders as last time):




Just a light tickle up & it'll be ready for priming (again ):
