Thanks, just had to slap myself there... wish I'd thought of that before spending hours carving my indicator lenses out of lumps of thick red acrylic sheet

Gearbox on ... rear torsion bars aren't doing anything, three layers of 1mm clear sheet bolted & ziptied on work but aren't that pretty... clear underguard is shorter than standard as the re-re XR311 ally guard is longer ...

Really needs an RX, 4xAA box, battery, and control rods for the servos, but these things are so frgaile it'll spend it's life on a shelf ... also made a new (XR311 style) bumper out of 3mm styrene to be painted later:

Quite chuffed with how this turned out - even if it did take 9 months  :)

Another splendid effort mate! You can be very proud of the end result considering what you started with. Enjoy the fruits of your labour.

Holy crap! Looks like you've got nearly enough bits to build another?
- have a wander through the manual to see what's missing for another build & let me know, I might well be interested (For the right price) in a box of bits for a custom-build.

Regardless, If you have a full set of dry-cell connector bits, I'd be very interested in those - I'd originally intended for my Cheetah to be dry-cell-powered rather than the more common NiCd setup, but couldn't lay my hands on the bits needed. Again, let me know.

Oh, & yep my Cheetah was finished ages ago, well as finished as it's ever likely to be! - there's a couple of (poor) pics in my gallery

AFAIK what's needed for dry cells is 2 plastic plates, 1 metal double contact & 2 small contacts - I only have the plastic bits & one small contact :(

You're welcome to those & any or all of the rest ... I also have a driver (paint stripped & in bits, most of the fingers on the right hand missing, + 2 helmet heads with the faces painted).

If I'm using the Royal Mail site correctly, I think I can post it all for 5.30 GBP :)
